So I have needed a new mobile telephone for quite some time, and Sunday night I finally decide to order one. I figure I'll compare prices, packages, etc. between different companies, but what's this? Pretty much every website is so shit that I do not even know what to click. Orange is the one site that is easy to use, so I go with that.
I fill in my details, choose a package and a 'phone and click "order". I then get the option to choose when I want it delivered. "Wow, that's a good service!" I think. I pick the earliest date possible: Tuesday 18th July between 9am and 5.30pm. Then I am told to wait for a confirmation e-mail. One does not arrive. It is now 7.32pm, Tuesday 18th July. No 'phone. I wouldn't mind as much if I had been told it would be delivered within a couple of days, but to give me a choice and then not honour it? That's just fucking retarded! Don't offer it if you can't provide it! And it has been 48 hours now, and two working days have passed since I submitted my order, and I don't even have fucking confirmation that my order was recieved.
And being my usual self, I had got all excited about having a mobile for once, and had been really looking forward to today because of it.
Now I remember why I hate the world, because everybody sucks.
Speaking of sucking, I had a job interview for CMC Markets today (thanks to Faye's sister). I say interview, it was actually a pre-interview test. I think I did well on the IQ portion, as I was in a room filled with thirty-somethings (I was easily the youngest person there), and I was one of only a few people to actually complete the first test.
I had researched CMC Markets beforehand, to try to give myself a bit of an edge. When I got there, I was treated like a baby, as the group were given a presentation on what a "share" was. Then we were given a test asking what the current rate the FTSE100 and DOW JONES30 was at! I'm sorry, how can you talk to us like we don't know what the stock market is, then ask us complex questions on current affairs in the very same area?
You cannot rely on anyone for anything ever. I think Greg told me that. Whoever told me, it's true.
And don't even get me started on London Transport, the most ill-prepared company in the world. In winter, the tubes have to stop because of ice on the tracks, the trains are delayed due to snow and buses, well, buses always suck. In summer, it's hotter than you're legally allowed to keep the temperature of any animals in captivity! Jesus fucking Christ, I have never been so uncomfortably hot. Fortunately everything ran smoothly when it came to waiting around; as in I didn't have to do much of it. However, there were neumerous announcements of delays for other lines, so I feel I am justified in saying London Transport fucking sucks, even if I did recive an on time, albeit unbearable service.
Fucking Orange.

I can't specifically remember saying that, but i probably did; i'm all about rhetorical hyperbole.
i broke my phone (maybe on purpose cos i was angry) and three is wicked, i didnt even buy it from them and they're repairing it (or basically giving me a new one)
o2 and 3 are the best, but o2 is better.
